Has larger hole in knuckle bone and this claw has a gash on one side. The gas does not effect the stability of the claw in any way. This most likely happened to the bear while digging for grubs against a sharp stone. Absolutely STUNNING stripes on this claw. If not for the imperfections this would be an $800 claw just because of the rare coloring. . If you have ever wanted a large grizzly claw on a budget, this is the claw for you!
